Preventing Violence in American Cities with Safer Alcohol Sales

 “Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, sales from off-premises alcohol outlets have risen dramatically across the country. The report analyzes the relationship between alcohol outlet density and violent crime and provides safer alcohol sales policy options to help cities reduce violent crime while improving the health and well-being of residents.”

NOFAS Launches Policy and Training Center for FASD Advocates

 The NOFAS Policy and Training Center is holding its first forum for advocates this

 Wednesday, January 27,  at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Anyone interested in increased federal attention and investment for FASD is invited to attend.

The hour-long, recurring monthly virtual meeting will brief advocates on the status of the federal response to FASD and congressional outreach and discuss the role of advocates in the aim to enact new FASD authorization and appropriations legislation.
