Proof Alliance’s SAFEST Choice National Learning Collaborative Published in the Journal of Pediatrics: Clinical Practice

Developed in partnership with Boston Medical Center, SAFEST Choice is a national, virtual training program that equips prenatal and pediatric care teams with the tools to better identify and support individuals with possible or diagnosed FASD. Through this collaborative, health care professionals build skills in screening for prenatal alcohol exposure, counseling patients and families, and delivering informed, compassionate care. The published study demonstrates statistically significant improvements in participants’ confidence, self-efficacy, and clinical practices—reinforcing SAFEST Choice as a leading model for advancing FASD-informed care nationwide.
