“AAP’s FASD Champion Network developed A Roadmap to Managing FASDs in the Pediatric Medical Home, a practical guide to help pediatricians identify and care for children with FASDs. The guide introduces a new mnemonic using the “FASD” acronym to support recognition of FASD signs. The FASD Champion Network also updated Screening for Prenatal Alcohol Exposure: An Implementation Guide for Pediatric Primary Care Providers, which offers strategies for pediatric clinicians to screen, identify, and address risks related to prenatal alcohol use.”
