Texas A&M Studies Relationship of Anxiety, Alcohol in Pregnancies

“A new study at Texas A&M is looking into the impacts of pregnancy and alcohol on anxiety. Andres Viana, director of the CARES Lab holding the study, told KBTX that while pregnancy is generally a happy period for families, many women struggle. The study includes the relationship of anxiety and alcohol on pregnant people. Viana said a third of women will consume alcohol during pregnancy, despite recommendations.”
