NIAAA Finds 25% Increase in Alcohol-related Deaths During COVID-19

“Researchers from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) have found that alcohol-related deaths increased markedly during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.  According to the NIAAA researchers: Overall, the increase in alcohol-related deaths was 25%.”
